The Brief
I have been friends with Kyle Martinez, the owner of Ace Wraps for years.
(He won’t mind me sharing his name publicly).
Over the past few years as he’s gotten himself more established, he’s started sending some of his clients my way for vehicle wrap designs.
In 2023 he referred Miss. W to me to help design a livery for her artworking van.
The Design
Miss. W provided the primary mushroom graphic:
And she had a good idea of the copy she wanted included:
I was also able to source the typeface she had designed her original concept with.
The Proofs
I went out on-site to measure and photograph her van.
I didn’t want to ask for measurements because all too often the client won’t measure with the design or printing requirements in mind.
Plus it’s what I’m being paid for, and the job has to be done right!
Taking my own photos for later proofing mockups is also invaluable when I don’t have access to commercial vehicle outlines.

I then handed them to Kyle for him to sort the printing and finish off the job.
